Today’s presentations highlighted the importance of integrating field measurements, remote sensing, satellite data, and advanced modeling approaches to improve pasture monitoring and soil organic carbon assessment in Mongolia.

Researchers, monitoring institutions, policymakers, and international partners emphasized that strengthening collaboration among stakeholders is essential for developing a reliable and practically applicable Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) system.

The discussion will contribute to expanding future scientific cooperation, improving monitoring methodologies, and supporting evidence-based actions for sustainable pasture management and the achievement of Land Degradation Neutrality (LDN).
